How to be an Outbound

Back

• Full time high school students between the ages of 15 and 18.5.
• Above average academically (top third of your class).
• Articulate, leader in your school and community.
• You have an interest in serving as cultural ambassadors.
• Want to learn a new language by total immersion into the culture.

• Country Preference Form starts the process.

• Country Information & Expenses

• Registration Form and begin the application process (Click here).
• US Passport required with application.
• Applications due the end of October before interviews.
• Club and District Interviews complete by end of December.
• Orientation starts in January/February after the country is chosen. Sessions are required.

• Ohio-Erie is the student placement organization for our Rotary District 7530. Every year about 100+ students are sent to over 40 countries all over the world. Also they arrange for  the same number of students coming back to our district.
